USDOJ Press release found here shows one more that gets busted in the warez scene. From the pdf file:
ALVIN RAY GIPSON, JR. was sentenced to thirty months in prison and ordered to pay $46,592.34 in restitution to the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), and $43,491.00 to the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA), after previously admitting that he willfully infringed on the copyrights of movies and music held by the RIAA and the MPAA by reproducing or distributing copies of the copyrighted works. According to information presented in court, Gipson admitted that since about 2006, he reproduced and distributed copyrighted movies and music recordings having an approximate value of $90,083.34. Gipson was sentenced today during an appearance before United States District Judge Marcia Crone.

I have only seen large sentences like this in one of two cases. a) a high level player in the warez scene (group leader, siteop, scripter, etc) or b) he made money off this. I cannot say exactly what happened, but i think we can assume he wasn't just a casual downloader.

Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world.
