Springhill man arrested for selling pirated dvd's E-mail

PRESS RELEASEĀ 

On July 22, 2008, Troopers of the Louisiana State Police North District Detectives, Shreveport Field Office, were contacted by a concerned individual who provided information regarding Michael Null, of Springhill, La. who they suspected of selling pirated DVD's from his residence. Later the next day LSP Detectives made an undercover purchase of two pirated movies directly from Michael Null, and on July 25, purchased four more pirated movies from Null. While at his residence, Null showed undercover troopers his entire movie pirating operation. Troopers observed hundreds of DVD's stacked in areas of the house. Null described to troopers how he made the copies indicating a source in Longview, TX, where he purchased master copies. On August 4, 2008, troopers executed a search warrant at Null's residence as well as three arrest warrants on Michael Null. Troopers also confiscated 10,194 DVD's and computer equipment used in the video pirating operation at Null's residence.
